Information we collect

To sign you in, we process your account identifier, your email address (if provided) and your sign-in provider. To run the game, we store your activity logs, quests, EXP, profile and item information. To know which countries the app is used in, we store the country code from your device's region setting (for example, US) with your account. We do not collect location data.

If you join a party, we store the party name, the nickname you use in the party, the invite code, cheers, removals, and the logging status needed to calculate raid damage (whether you logged that day, how many quests you completed and which stats you logged). Members of the same party can see your nickname, character appearance, character level, featured title, role, whether you logged today, how many days you logged this week and your raid damage. They cannot see the text, titles, times or EXP of your logs. Someone who enters an invite code sees the party name, member count and the leader's nickname before joining. For a public party, the party name and member count are visible to all users.

For friends, we store your friend code (invite code), who entered whose code and when, your friendships and when they were made, and when codes were tried (to prevent too many attempts). We also store the profile name, character level, featured title, featured traits (up to three) and character appearance (equipped items) that your friends see. Only friends who entered your code or whose code you entered can see this, and after you unfriend each other it is no longer visible to them. Friends cannot see the text of your logs, EXP or account information.

For the character leaderboard, we store your profile name (as your leaderboard nickname), character level, total EXP, featured title, featured traits (up to three) and character look. The leaderboard shows the top 10; other users see only the first letter of your nickname, with the rest masked, along with your character look, level, featured title and featured traits. Job traits and your own named traits are never sent to the leaderboard. You can hide yourself at any time from the leaderboard screen's menu; once hidden, other users can't see you.

We record usage statistics to understand how the app is used. These include the days you opened the app, the steps you took on the logging screen (analyze, save, close), how you responded to reward screens, home cards and reminders, and opening the party screen and the party create and join steps. Party names, nicknames and invite codes are not included in usage statistics. Usage statistics do not include the text or titles of your logs. Usage statistics are recorded whenever you use the service, and there is no setting to turn them off. They are deleted when you delete your account.

How we use it

We use this information for account authentication, syncing your game save across devices, providing the service and fixing problems. We also aggregate game data and usage statistics to improve the balance of levels and quest rewards, the difficulty of party raids and the accuracy of activity classification. Only the operator sees the aggregated results; they are not published or shared with anyone else.

Activity classification

So that we can check and correct how activities are classified, the activity text you write in the app is sent to our server together with the classification the app gave it. We do not store the original text. We store a normalized form of the text, with times, numbers and filler words removed, and its classification, without your account information; we review it, and a corrected classification applies from the next time the same text is logged. Activity text the app cannot classify on its own is sent to Anthropic (Claude) for classification. Your account information is not sent with it. To avoid sending the same text again, we store a hash made from the text and the classification result. The normalized text is deleted 7 days after review, or after 30 days if it is not reviewed.

Retention and deletion

Game data and usage statistics are stored in the Supabase cloud, linked to your account. If you delete your account in the app under Profile → Settings → Account, your LifeSim data and usage statistics are deleted. Usage statistics that could not be sent because there was no internet connection stay on your device for up to 30 days. When you leave a party, your member information is deleted right away, and the raid damage you dealt that week stays as long as the party exists. When the last member leaves, the party and its raid records are deleted, and raid results remain in statistics only as numbers, without names or accounts. Deleting your account also deletes your party records. Deleting your account also deletes your invite code, invite records, friendships and the character information your friends saw; invite reward items another person has already received stay in that person's game data. Deleting your account also removes your character from the leaderboard. We do not keep data separately except where the law requires us to.

Sharing and tracking

We do not track you for advertising and we do not sell personal information. We use Supabase as a service provider for authentication and data storage, and Anthropic for activity classification.
